Alternative Conditioning -
Indian Clubs

I heard some exercise Gurus say that club swinging didn't work, but it's funny when I started doing it hard my shoulder strength shot up and I could press heavier than ever before.

My grip strength and endurance went way up and I had the best Farmers Walk I had ever had. Even winning the event in a competition with very little training on it after having been sick and not being able to train the actual event more than a couple of times. My arms and abs got more muscular and my shoulders got more flexible (and I'm already pretty flexible).

Every time I work levering exercises with clubs I can feel it from elbow to fingertip and my bending strength shoots up.

Now I can literally crush 60 penny nails easily anytime I want and I moved up to grade 5 and grade 8 bolts and drill rod and am closing on the famous IronMind Red Nail.

My forearms are bigger and more muscular than ever. A fact that came out with a measuring tape as well as comments from friends I haven't seen in a while.

So what is causing all this?

Hey clubs aren't a miracle. In fact there is no magic training, but they sure are working for me.

That is why we created these videos so they can work for you too.

So you can get the knowledge being brought back from the training of the old time strongmen and fighters and apply it to your world to be the best that you can be.

NO implement stands on its own, but some of them sure can make a difference in the rest of your training, and I think clubs can help do that for you.

Here are some of the things you can get from club training:

  • Increased grip strength
  • Increased wrist strength (mine shot through the roof when I added it to bending)
  • Increased shoudler and arm strength
  • Increased striking power (why this was a favorite of the old time boxers)
  • Increased throwing power (why Hindu grapplers have trained with this for centuries)
  • Phenomenal endurance (not only in the local muscles but in your heart, lungs and whole body)
  • Increased athletic coordination and speed
  • An increase in practical application and power
And that's not all. If you want to know all of the technical reasons why we train with clubs, then you should read the article, 17 Reasons Why I Train With Hammers, Heavy Clubs and Maces , if you haven't already. That was just too much information to put into the description for this video. So we put it down separately so you could really get a full understand of how powerful club training is.

If you want to see how versatile it is, then think of this;

We've divided the training into three basic groups.

  1. Exercise based swings -

Full body movements designed to work specific parts of the body or the body in general also including explosive movements.

  2. Leverage movements -

Slower, stricter movements designed to increase grip, forearm or the strength of a specific part of the body.

  3. Striking movements -

Movements designed to mimic striking with a weapon or body part for building strength and power.

So on this powerful video which gives you an entire system based on swinging one and two handed heavy indian clubs we put 100 exercises.

That's right… ONE HUNDRED!

100 different ways to make your hands, arms, shoulders, back, abs and whole body more functional, more powerful, more muscular, more coordinated, more rugged and more enduring.

Now who wants to say "No" to that??

You know what one of the best parts of this whole thing is? You don't have to be an expert to start getting the exponential gains from this type of training very quickly.

Why do I say "exponential gains?'

Because when you train hard with these clubs, you produce a snowball reaction in the body.

Your endurance goes up, therefore you can train harder and heaiver.

Therefore you get new gains not just in the club swinging, but in your lifting or sports.

Your grip gets stronger, and as a reaction from that your arms and shoulders get stronger.

Then you get stronger on your basic strength exercises and that strength spreads out so you can apply it in many different directions.

Here are some of the exercises that we put on this video:

  • Wrist Half Lever
  • Wrist Full Lever
  • Shoulder Front Raise half range
  • Shoulder Front Raise Full range
  • Curl Grip shoulder raise
  • Elbow Circles
  • Front Swings
  • Snatches
  • Snatch and squat
  • Lunge Cleans
  • Two Club Curl Press Extension and Squat
  • Side Head Circles
That's just starting off with a few. How about a few more?

  • The Giant Front Swing
  • The Highland Swing
  • The Hindu Head Circles
  • OStiff Leg Overhead
  • Front Face Levers
  • Twist Forward Hold
  • Circle Press
  • Sword Strike
  • Two Hand Swing and Lunge
  • Overhead Circles
  • Overhead Side Bend
  • Multiple Angle Oval Swing
Just those exercises listed right there would be enough to give you a monstrous strength and conditioning workout, but that's only a handful of the 100 exercises shown.

In addition to showing you the performance of the actual exercises, we also talk to you about routines to use them in, some totally unique routines that nobody else is doing as well as how to mix them in your training.

One and two handed exercises for basically ever part of the body as well as explosive whole body exercises for savage conditioning. All done with simple to apply basic clubs using simple exercises and laid out right there for you so you can watch, rewind, and learn to your hearts content.
